Nelson Tang is a photographer who was hired by a couple to be there wedding photographer. After the wedding he was payed and all was good, the married couple who hired him even posted about 1,000 of his pictures on there facebook pages with captions about how good and excellent the pictures where. This couple ended up suing the photographer for 300,000$ on grounds that his pictures were not professional and that he falsely advertised. In support of the photographer, world famous photographer Gary Fong, started a campaign via his youtube channel that would make it whenever you google the name Nelson Tang you would get “Nelson Tang: Photographer being terrorized and bullied by attorney/client for $300,000 even though the photographs came out nicely and the couple posted over 1,000 of them on Facebook with comments like, “Great Images” etc...”. I don’t know how far the case went or if it was ever dropped. But I look at this case and see a bunch of BS. The couple has no grounds to do this, its straight up insanity as there are no real legal grounds for what is being pushed here. There are no available photos on the internet to show what his work looked like, so assuming that his photos where perfectly fine, there's no reason this should be considered a reasonable case and I really hope that the photographer got off scot free. I do know that Gary Fong started a funding page for Nelson to help him afford the lawyers for the case. As far as I know and can only imagine, he's fine and everything went well. Meaning he won the lawsuit.
